Destiny’s support group, comprised of our staff and birth moms past and present, gathers monthly for food, fun and connection. Recently, the group gathered around the table for a night of jewelry-making fun!
We laughed. We cried. We ate too much. And we made some bling!
Thias Creations, a.k.a. Cynthia Hoeksema, came in and taught us how to make some beautiful jewelry. We all went home with a few pieces we could proudly call our own creations.
“Our girls are amazing—so strong. We feel that together, with this huge life event as the common denominator, they can lean on one another in the dark moments, never feeling as though they are walking this journey alone. So we created this group to continue the building of family and connection.”
— Lisa, Founder and Executive Director of Destiny Adoption
Thank you to Thias Creations and Chick-Fil-A Cortez Plaza in Bradenton for their generous support in this night.
