Destiny Adoption launches a satellite office in Nashville, TN.

Destiny Adoption Services and Consulting is excited to announce its expansion into the Nashville area. Founded by Lisa Cuffaro, a native of East Tennessee, growing families through adoption is deeply rooted in her own life. Lisa’s parents were long-time foster parents, who went on to adopt Lisa’s brother and sister through the foster care system.

Having spent the early years of her career in adoption & family services, Lisa felt a calling to create a more personalized experience for both the birth mom and adoptive families. Launching her first agency in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, in 1994, Cuffaro became aware of the need and opportunity to expand in her home state of Tennessee (Knoxville) in the fall of 2019. Soon after, the agency was receiving frequent inquiries from the Middle Tennessee area. “Our heart is to give hope to a community we love. The Nashville community is calling, and we intend to answer that call in a big way”, said Cuffaro.

Bringing over 40 years of combined knowledge and heart, the Destiny Adoption Services and Consulting team provides education, guidance and support to individuals and couples longing to grow their families through private adoption. Their love for cultivating forever families does not stop there. Destiny also provides continuous support and education to the very brave birth mother seeking to place her baby with their perfect version of family. “Support for the birth mother exists, through continued counseling and services, for as long as the birth mother desires it. This alone sets us apart from other agencies.” ~ Kristen McBee, Executive Director of Tennessee (Knoxville)

The Middle Tennessee office is located at 104 E Park Drive, Suite 320, Brentwood, TN. Cynthia Davis will oversee the satellite office. “I’m so excited to introduce Nashville to this amazing organization. Not only am I especially proud of their inclusiveness to serve ALL families, I am also thrilled to share in their desire to simply serve the needs of our community.” Davis added, “at the heart of Destiny is the desire to serve others, regardless of their position or ability. I believe these examples are merely glimpses of what makes us different.”

During the pandemic, Destiny recognized families were struggling to meet basic needs, such as diapers. In response, the Destiny team launched a program called Babies and Buns diaper drive and giveaway. Davis stated, “after successful events in both Tampa and Knoxville locations, it is exciting to also bring this program to Middle Tennessee families in need.”
