How Helping Mamas’ Knoxville Is Making a HUGE Difference
This month we are highlighting one of our very favorite agencies. We connected with Helping Mamas’ Knoxville through Tess, their Executive Director.
The mission of Helping mamas is to connect helping mamas to mamas needing help. They are the baby supply bank for East Tennessee. Tess is a Knoxville native and graduated from the University of Tennessee. Both, Destiny Adoption and Destiny Community Care have partnered with them to share encouragement and love to all our clients and the communities we have the privilege of serving. They provide us with hygiene kits for families, diapers to give out at our diaper giveaways, and pamper/care kits for our pregnant moms, and birth moms who have delivered. We love to see our post placement mamas’ eyes light up when we show up at her door for a visit or meet her for lunch with a pamper kit in hand. Tess and her team’s vision and inclusivity aligns with the heart of our agency and we feel like we were given a gift Helping Mamas.
Below are some facts that we’ve taken from their website that we believe will educate on the current crisis, how they are stepping up to make a change, and how you can help. Make sure you follow them on Instagram (CLICK HERE) and Facebook (CLICK HERE).
