Your placement could have been last week or 25 years ago. The time span isn’t important. What is important is your healing.
"The group offers a warm and non-judgmental place for support. Everyone there has been through what you’ve been through, placing a child for adoption and feeling it down deep in your soul." - Lisa Cuffaro, founder and executive director of Destiny Adoption Services

In addition to a support system, the Birth Parent Support Group empowers. Placing a child for adoption can cause feelings, emotions and grief that are difficult to deal with alone. These feelings and emotions can cause you to become stuck, being unable to let go, forgive and move on with life.
Being able to identify and connect with others can empower you to move out of your situation, move forward and create positive, new experiences in your life. This can include freedom from addiction, a career, healthy relationship choices and greater financial stability.
